In January 2008, the power of donated technologies became readily apparent with the 51% acquisition of NutriJoy, Inc. by The Coca-Cola Company. This acquisition gave Coca-Cola its first corporate operating presence in the state of Kansas and established NutriJoy as one of Coke’s six external global R&D centers.
